LOCATION:

BC placer title 1092910. 38.25 hectares / 94.51 acres. The property is located 35 km east-southeast of the City of Prince George, British Columbia. From Prince George, proceed southeast on Hwy. 97. For 7 km., to the merge with Cariboo Hwy 97 going south, for a further 3 km. to Buckhorn. At Buckhorn turn east onto Buckhorn Lake Rd. for 7km to a south turn on the same road which becomes Willow Cale Rd., then 1.5 km turning east on the same road, then for 4km past the Buckhorn Lake Recreation Site, where you will take the left fork to continue on Willow-Cale Forest Service Road for 19 km to Fish Lake Road, left, for 1.5 km directly to the site. The claim centre is at latitude 53.744091° and longitude -122.270223°. The claim is completely underlain by crown land. There is ~650m of gravel water frontage on the north and south side of the river, as well as a section of gravel island.

GEOLOGY:

Data from the Cariboo mining district indicate that supergene leaching of gold dispersed within massive sulphides by Tertiary deep weathering followed by Cenozoic erosion is the most likely explanation for the occurrence of coarse gold nuggets in Quaternary sediments" (Exploration in British Columbia 1989, page 147).
